Diff erential diagnostic criteria for prodromal stages of psychosis

The results of an integrated clinical-psychopathological investigation of a prodrome of paranoid
schizophrenia and acute polymorph psychosis are presented. In the frameworks of the study variants
of courses and the main clinical-psychopathological manifestations of a prodromal stage of
psychosis had been analyzed in patients with schizophrenia and acute polymorph psychotic disorder,
and on this basis specifi c diff erential-diagnostic features of prodromes of paranoid schizophrenia
and acute polymorph psychotic disorder were defi ned.
